He is not sure about the extension of the special permit. They are <br /> starting with medical projects, commercial and then residential in Industrial Park, <br /> Commercial Street. <br /> Discussion of Committee Organization, Including Identification of Alternate Members <br /> The Board of Selectmen has defined the A.D.A. Committee as a seven-member board <br /> with an alternate member. With Mert Sapers' absence, he will be the alternate member <br /> which will be revisited in July. Kathleen Moore indicated that she would e-mail that <br /> portion of the Board of Selectmen's minutes to the committee. <br /> Discuss Priorities for CY 2012 <br /> Self-Evaluation on recreation <br /> Move forward on Conservation projects <br /> Talk with Harbormaster re: Handicapped Accessibility on Boat Ramps (contact Police <br /> Chief) <br /> Publicity-include Chamber of Commerce and the Children's Museum(may be they <br /> could help to raise funds) <br /> Town Report <br /> Bob W. will prepare a draft of the A.D.A. town report for review by members. He will <br /> be sure to include the beach ramp project. <br /> Town Meeting Articles <br /> Articles are due for the Town warrant early February. Carol Sherman mentioned that she <br /> will ask the Town Manager about how the committee could obtain C.P.C. money and <br /> whether an article is needed. <br /> New Business <br /> Bob mentioned that a letter dated December 27, 2011 was received from Nancy White, <br /> V.P. of Sales for O'Brien& Sons who represented the Mobi-Mat. She says that they <br /> have picked up a line called PathMat which is an access mat for beach wheelchairs. The <br /> product is stronger and more foot friendly and half the cost. <br /> Snow Plowing <br /> Bob W. mentioned that he had an exchange via e-mail with Catherine Laurent about <br /> plowing. In the past,handicapped access had been convenient to dump snow, but things <br /> are getting better. <br />
