1.2. COMGAST Contract. <br /> Bob Wooldridge stated that more channels are becoming digital, and by February 2009 all <br /> channels will have switched over to digital. COMCAST continues to move channels from the <br /> basic and expanded basic service to digital packages which are currently available only with an. <br /> additional cost. The question is: will there be additional charges to access those channels now <br /> in the basic and expanded basic service after the conversion to all-digital format in February <br /> 2009? The CCMCAST contract will be negotiated by a consortium. `through the Ad Hoc t <br /> Committee we are trying to raise these questions and a need for closed captioning with other <br /> towns all members of the consortium are on the same sheet of music in the negotiations. i <br /> i <br /> 13.
