Mashpee Woods project has been approved by the Zoning Board of Appeals on June 12,
2007. We have been advised the latter project will have 120 Visitable units. Of those, at
least six will be fully handicapped accessible.
Bob reported discussions with a member of the Bourne Housing Partnership regarding .
visitability programs. Bourne Housing officials plan to try to incorporate visitability
features in the housing built as part of the CanalSide Commons 40B project. Bob
provided him some documentation and research materials for background. Some of the
Bourne officials are quite impressed by the progress Mashpee has made in incorporating
visitability features into current and planned projects.
Trish cautioned members that"THEY'RE BACK(summer drivers) and all should use
great caution while trying to navigate along Rte. 28 and Mashpee Commons(whether on
foot or by car). Some amazing antics have already been noted.
Following a spirited discussion of current events, people and things, the meeting
adjourned at 3:25 PM. The next meeting is scheduled for July 12, 2007.
Respectfully submitted,
Robert H. Wooldridge
Secretary
