the availability of diversity training. <br />Committee members discussed other ideas suggested on the NPFH brochure. Ms. Farren will <br />make copies of the brochure to distribute it to the Committee members. <br /> <br />OPEN DISCUSSION <br />There was discussion regarding new restaurant ownership in the alley area adjacent to Roche <br />Brothers. The new owner enjoys being involved with community activities. <br /> <br />There was discussion about getting more adults involved in the Committee, rather than relying <br />solely on kids. <br /> <br />Ms. Farren stated that she had received more information about Mashpee Cares and indicated <br />that she would forward the information to the Committee. <br /> <br />NEXT MEETING <br />The November meeting of the Affirmative Action Committee will be canceled. The next <br />meeting will take place on December 20 at 5:00 p.m. Ms. Farren will stay in contact with <br />Committee members by email regarding the upcoming library event, the Christmas parade and <br />information from the ADL. <br /> <br />MEETING ADJOURNMENT <br />Ms. Wray made a motion to close the meeting.
