Mashpee Affordable Housing Committee <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> August 7,2012 at 6:30 pm <br /> Selectmen's Meeting Room, Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Present: Chairman Walter Abbott, Berkeley Johnson, Allan Isbitz <br /> Also Present: Selectman Michael Richardson <br /> Absent: Kalliope Egloff <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairman Abbott called the meeting to order at 6:34 p.m. and the roll was called. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES-May 1, 2012 & June 5,2012 <br /> Mr. Johnson made a motion to approve the July minutes. Mr. Isbitz seconded the motion. <br /> All voted unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Planned Production Plan <br /> Chairman Abbott complimented Mr. Fudala on pulling together the figures for the report and <br /> noted that revisions recommended by Leila Botsford of the Mashpee Housing Authority had <br /> been incorporated by Mr. Fudala. Mr. Johnson confirmed that Ms. Botsford stated by email that <br /> her comments had been incorporated. <br /> Chairman Abbott recommended that the Action Items be reviewed for any significant changes, <br /> beginning at page 33. <br /> Action Items <br /> Policy 1, Action 2—AHC, to be addressed at the next meeting which actions to take and <br /> continue to work on the Affordable Housing brochure with Selectman Richardson. It was <br /> determined that Ms. Egloff would provide the final version of the document to Selectman <br /> Richardson. <br /> Action 3—Housing Authority added <br /> Action 4—ZBA added <br /> Action 8—Planning Board& Affordable Housing will update the plan every 5 years, next in <br /> 201'7 <br /> Policy 2, Action 1—No change, add more housing to meet .5%goal <br /> Action 2-No change <br /> Action 6—AHC, Assessor's, Planning, Authority responsibility; seeking private land. Regarding <br /> tracking inventory, Chairman Abbott recommended that the issue be addressed and the numbers <br /> verified at a future meeting. <br /> Action 9—Use of town owned properties for affordable rentals <br /> Action 10—Conversion to affordable housing <br /> Planning/Zoning <br /> Action 4-Unsure of meaning <br />
