fo <br /> NEIN BRINE : <br /> Mash Affordable Housing Committeeresentation Feasibi�i stud Results: Mr. Abbott did a <br /> presentation on behalf of the town's Affordable Housing Committee. Mr. Abbott expressed optimism in <br /> being able to create between 100 and 120 units of affordable housing in Mashpee this coming year. Mr. <br /> Abbott stated that their feasibility study has come in for the town-owned land at 209 old Barnstable Road <br /> and they think they'll be able to build some workforce housing on the site. Mr. Halpern asked who would <br /> build it and Mr. Abbott stated that the town would need to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the <br /> design, the building, and the management of it. FIs. Botsford asked if they had done this presentation to <br /> the selectmen and Mr. Abbott stated that they had not, but that the town would have to take the next <br /> step. The board thanked Mr. Abbott for attending and giving us an update and stated that we would be <br /> interested in getting an update. Mr. Abbott exited the meeting and Mr. Halpern returned to the regular <br /> agenda. <br /> SECRETARY'S DEPORT: <br /> Minutes for the regular meeting held on November 14, 2013 were mailed to members before the <br /> meeting. A notion was made by Ms. Allen and seconded by Mr. Shackett to accept the <br /> minutes as presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> Minutes for the Executive Session held on November 14, 2013 were mailed to members before the <br /> meeting. The motion was adopted. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT: <br /> T: <br /> Budget to Actual Report: Mrs. Botsford presented the budget to actual report, prepared by the fee <br /> accountant, and reviewed it with the board, explaining the variances. Since our Fiscal Year 2014 has not <br /> yet been approved, the report is based on fiscal year 2013 budget figures. <br /> Accounts Payables: Mrs. Botsford presented the warrants for signature. The warrants for signature <br /> tonight are for the months of November and December of 2013 and total as follows: For November: <br /> $31,157.99 for 4001, $5,F185-00 for Section 8, $16,852.00 for MRVP, $57,311.10 for Asher"s path <br /> Apartments and $6,852.72 for the Housing Assistance Program. For December: $46,956.32 for 4001,. <br /> $5,185.00 for Section 8, $33,738.00 for MRVP, $27,492.48 for Asher"s Path Apartments and $8,798.51 for <br /> the Housing Assistance Program. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that we have all residents paid in full at all developments. We are 100% occupied <br /> all developments; however-we are expecting one vacancy in raid-3anuari at Breezy Acres and another by <br /> the end of January. The new tenants are already selected, so as soon as the units are ready they can <br /> move in. We have an execution for judgment on one Asher's Path resident. We have agreed to a move <br /> out date of February 28. The process is underway for selecting new residents. A notion was made b <br /> Mr. Laporte and seconded by Mr. Shackett to accept the Treasurer's Report as presented. <br /> The motion was adopted. <br /> EXECUTIVE IE E T R" REPORT: <br /> T: <br /> Mrs. Botsford mailed members her written report for November and December and added the following <br /> report: <br /> • I have not yet heard abort our applications for funding under the Health &Safety Initiative— <br /> mulch to stone, handicapped accessible doors in back. She will keep the board informed. <br /> 0 Things have been very, very busy particularly in Brewster.
