X The meeting was called to order by the chairperson at :00 PM. A quorum was declared with the following members present: Richard Halpern, Kevin Shac ett, Jill Allen, and Fran Laporte, Also in attendance: Leila Botsford, Executive Director/Board Secretary. David Harsch was absent. SECRETARY'S REPORT: Minutes for the regular meeting held on January 9, 2014 were mailed to members before the meeting. A motion was made by Mr. Laporte and seconded by Ms. Allen to accept the minutes as presented. The motion was adopted. TREASURER" REPORT: Budget to Actual Report: Mrs. Botsford presented the budget to actual report, prepared by the fee accountant, and reviewed it with the board, explaining the variances. Since our Fiscal Year 2014 has now been approved, the report is based on actual fiscal year 2014 budget figures. Accounts Payables: Mrs. Botsford presented the warrants for signature. The warrants for signature tonight are for the months of January, February, and March 2014 and total as follows: January $51,694.48 for 4001,.$5,193.00 for Section B, $30,799.00 for MRVP, $31,621.29 for Asher's Path Apartments and $5,854.50 for the Housing Assistance Program; For : February $33,916.61 for 4001, $4,679.00 for Section 8, $33,267.51 for M VP, $33,203.47 for Asher"s Path Apartments and $5,166.50 for the Housing Assistance Program. For : March $50,995.87 for 4001, $4,679.90 for Section B, $32,573.49 ` for MRVP, $32,935.53 for Asher's Path Apartments and $5,337.94 for the Housing Assistance Program. Mrs. Botsford reported that we have all residents paid in full.at Asherrs Path and Horneyer Village but one t Breezy Acres who has not paid. We have a court agreement that she will pay on time so Pat Grace has been notified. We are 100% occupied at all developments. We had one vacancy at Asher's Path and one at Homeyer Village at the end of March. Both have been filled. A motion was made by Ids. Allen and seconded by Ir. Laporte to accept the Treasurer's Report as presented. The motion was adopted. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT: Mrs. Botsford mailed members her written report for January and February and added the following report: review of last two months and planning for new fever months) 0 Budget from DHD has been approved. • Advertisement went out for part-time maintenance person. Interviewing and hired David Keough. • Health &Safety Initiative— mulch to stone was approved but not the handicapped accessible doors,in back. This work is to 6e done by end of May. • Carol passed CP3 exam with Spectrum — now certified. • New Exit Conference with New Audit Manager with regards to our State-Audit. He should have draft done by beginning of April and if there are findings, vire will have opportunity to respond. • New Labor mates in. • Annual Report was done and submitted to Town of Mashpee. 0 Records disposal was approved and Inas been completed. • Took and passed required Fair Housing Train ing/Certification (found training in Rhode Island in February). • Labor and Workforce has issued the minimum Base rates for April 1 and they have been implemented.
