Botsford had previously provided the board with a <br /> copy of the Capital Improvement Plan Power Point Presentation and she reviewed the plan she is <br /> requesting to submit. She informed the board that all residents were given the opportunity to comment <br /> and give input on the plan. Seven residents attended the meeting and they all agreed with the plan that <br /> was proposed. Mrs. Botsford also explained that a 10% project management fee has been built into the <br /> plan to cover administrative costs. A motion was rade by Mr. Laporte and seconded by Mr, <br /> Sha kett to approve and submit to DHC]the Capital Improvement Plan as prepared by Mrs. <br /> Botsford. The motion was adopted. <br /> Contract with Peabody Properties: Mrs. Botsford reminded the board that the tiro-year contract with <br /> Peabody Properties, which,was required by MHIC and MassHousing in order for us to tale over. <br /> management, is up on Dec ber 31. Botsford reminded the board that this is the time of the year that,, In <br /> the past, the board has approved raises for housing authority staff. hers. Botsford stated that last year <br /> she was able to give bonuses of between 1 1 and 2 1/2% that were based on evaluations, merit, and <br /> performance and would like to be able to do the same this year. After a brief discussion, a motion was <br /> made by Mr. Laporte and seconded by Mr. Shackett to allow Mr's. Botsford to issue bonuses t <br /> all employees in a similar gray as the previous year. The motion was adopted. <br /> At this time, the chair announced that the board would rove to executive session with the purpose to <br /> conduct negotiations with nonunion personnel and that the open session will reconvene at the conclusion <br /> of the executive session. # motion was made by Mr. Laporte and seconded by Mr. Shackett t <br /> move to executive session.
