Berkeley Johnson <br /> seconded the ;notion. The motion was unanimously approved. . <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. Housing Authority Project <br /> Chairman Abbott stated that Leila Botsford had been in tech with him regarding this committee's <br /> co-sponsorship of the Housing Authority Project. The committee ee members agreed that they had <br /> voted to support the project with the means that they have, which does not include fiduciary <br /> responsibility. Mr. Abbott will get back to Ms. Botsford to confirm the committee's decision. <br /> . Funds AVailable <br /> Cape Cod C rrrrnissi n: $280,583.00 currently is in the Affordable Housing Mitigation account <br /> s a result of payment in lieu of units made by the Lowell Road subdivision project the CCC <br /> approved in 2000/2001. Funds-are held by CCC and are available to the town for use in the <br /> creation of affordable housing units. The funds ;must create at lust three affordable units. To <br /> access the funds, the town through Town Manager Joyce Mason would need to request the dollars <br /> or a portion of it with a descripbon of the proposed project and hoer the funds would be used. <br /> Community reser z Commission:mission $300,000 available specifically for affordable <br /> housing. <br />
