Total fee for their project was approximately $5,500. <br /> k alliope Egloff stated that three RFP responses would be necessary to have a consultant come up <br /> with a design plan for the 350 Falmouth Road project. chairman Abbott stated that there is <br /> $280,000 available for the project without Using the CPC funds. <br /> Chairman Abbott stated that vire need to get$6,000 approved by the Affordable Housing Trust to <br /> put out an RFP to assist in preparing a development plan for 950 Falmouth Road. 1â–ºIlfe would need <br /> the Town Planner's appmval and endorsement, and any other authority that might stand in the way <br /> of the project. Needs Discussion <br /> Chairman Abbott distributed a bleeds List to the committee members (see Attachment A). <br /> 1r. Abbott stated that Mashpee Commons has a 0-B project which was recently granted a 2-year <br /> extension to March 2014. The project plan includes 96 units, with 24 rentals. On the Needs List, <br /> under#2, DDB was clarif ed as Department of Disabled Services, with 14 units. Torn Fudala <br /> received a letter from DDS reporting on the number of units. <br /> Kalliope Egloff inquired as to whether there was any data available regarding the number of people <br /> ready to transition from rental to home ownership, with no place to buy because of lack of <br /> availability. IIIb. Abbott stated that he will contact Mashpee Village, as well as Peter White, to ask <br /> that question. Mr. Abbott stated that the family income cap requirement includes children working <br /> after school which can disqualify families from affordable income housing. <br /> NEIN BUSINESS <br /> 1. committee Opening <br /> Mr. Abbott stated that there is one opening on the committee. Carol Sherman reported that Mike <br /> Richardson had someone in mind, and will follow up with hire on it. ,Joyce Mason should be <br /> reminded to advertise the opening on the website and on the bulletin board. <br /> 2. VFW Project <br /> Walter Abbott stated that he had contacted Ted Theis about the status of the project. The project <br /> has stalled, due to a lack of funds as well as some state requirements, as of.January 22, 2010. <br /> The plan called for four buildings: 26 one-bedroom apartments, two 2-bedroom apartments; a <br /> common area, basement facilities, veterans' property management and the VFW Post would be <br /> located in the basement The location of the land is on Rt 28. construction financing would come <br /> from federal, state and local grants and from private contributors. Building casts were estimated at <br /> $137.00 per square foot, Total cost of the project was: $3,300,000. IIIb. Theis was hoping that at <br /> some point in the future, the project would be able to proceed. The committee agreed to keep the <br /> project on its radar screen. <br /> .
