Mr. Johnson -111 acquire a draft of the document and provide Mr. <br /> Newton with contact information. <br /> Review of the Mashpee Affordable Housing Mission Statement and Brochure <br /> Ms. Egloff suggested changes to the brochure such as enhancing its affordability by creating the <br /> document in black and white, allowing for posting it online, and using Century Gothic font. lis. <br /> Egloff pointed out that the existing photos were not appropriate and suggested the addition of""Town <br /> of Mashpee" and the town seal on the front of the brochure, repeating the seal for the return address. <br /> Inside of the document, Ms. EgJoff suggested the elimination of borders to better tie in the text, adding <br /> that"Our" should be eliminated from History, Goals and Activities to better represent the interests of <br /> the entire town. The website and an email address should be added to the document to provide an <br /> accessible contact. Ms. Egloff suggested changes to the text, recommending communication in a more <br /> direct and positive manner2 and volunteered to re-draft the document prior to the next meeting in <br /> collaboration with Ms. Dufault. Regarding distribution, Ms. Egloffrecommended making the <br /> document available at Town Hall, as well as distributing the document when Committee members <br /> address various groups in Mashpee. Mr. Johnson suggested adding Committee member nannies to the <br /> document but concern was expressed about re-print costs if the membership changes. Vis. I ufult <br /> recommended the addition of specific projects that had been completed. <br /> Committee members discussed creating a speakers bureau to educate residents and committees about <br /> the needs and mailability of affordable housing. It was also recommended that individual Affordable <br /> Mousing members present a topic of interest at the beginning of each meeting in order to prepare for <br /> addressing other groups. <br /> Announcements <br /> Mr. Treb t announced that Habitat for Humanity would be hosting a kick off event for its new project <br /> on Thursday, July 8 at 7 p.m. at Christ the Ding Church. A wall raising blessing will occur at 12 p.m. <br /> on July 17 at 67 Foxhill. Road. <br /> Next Meeting <br /> August 3, 2010 at 7 p.m. <br /> Meeting Adjournment <br /> A motion was made by Mr. Johnson to adjourn. Motion seconded by Ms. Egloff. All voted <br /> unanimously.
