Cynthia Green,Julius Rosales,John Paone,Marty Henry, <br /> Alice Lopez. <br /> Absent: Trudi Ide, Louise Patrick <br /> Guests; Matt Teague, McShane Construction <br /> Meeting called to order at T:08 p.m. <br /> Approval of Minutes...John Paone motioned to accept the minutes of July 5, 2005. Julius <br /> Rosales seconded the motion- and the motion was carried. <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE <br /> Action ern: Zella to obtain key to Town Fall on meeting nights <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Main Street Village—Phase 2 <br /> ■ Matt Teague from McShane Construction made a presentation to the AHC regarding phase <br /> of the Main Street Village Affordable Housing project. The purpose of the presentation is to <br /> get the ASIC endorsement on the prof ectO <br /> ■ There are currently two 1-bedroom units and one 1-bedroom unit being constructed for <br /> affordable housing, The selling price of these homes will be: 1011 4o affordable <br /> and 40 - (market). The units under 40B and market hones Will have the same <br /> footprint. <br /> * Matt invited the members to Visit a similar, completed development prof ect—Woodside <br /> Village. Development is located on Clipper Circle off Boardley Road in Sandwich. <br /> ■ ella reports that she has been approached by several Mashpee residents regarding house <br /> designs. Many residents want smaller, one-level.homes. <br /> ■ Knits will utilize a community septic system. <br /> ■ The plan will have two commercial units at the front of the development. The intent of the <br /> devclopment is to create a"'real downtown Mashpee." They are close to signing Lambert <br /> Fruit and Matt is also looking for complimentary bu.s esses (i.e., attorney, dentist, etc. <br /> ■ AHC members expressed concerns about traffic. In the current plan, residents will have to <br /> travel through a commercial parking lot toget to their homes. Matt is addressing the ZBA <br /> and Architectural Committee for a resolution. <br /> ■ Alice made a notion to give approval to the Main Street Phase Hproject with conditional <br /> approval. The conditions are concerns of curb cuts and residents driving through a <br /> commercial area when leavirig their hones as well as traffic. Julius seconded the motions <br /> and the motion was carried, <br />
