BAILEY, DIRECTOR OF ASSESSING The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman Porter at 6 -... 10 p.fLi. MINUTES OF THE MEETINGS : Minutes of The Meeting of April 19 , 1994 Revised Pace 4 and Reprised Pate Robert DeLory made motion The Board accept the reprised Page and the revised Paye 6 of The Minutes of The Meeting of April 19 , 1994 as printed; Leslie Greig rade second the motion; motion passed; unanimous decision . The revised pages of The Minutes were accepted by The Board. Minutes of The Meeting of May 1 , 1994 Vice Chairman DeLory referred to Page 1 , Commercial Personal Property. Upon question concerning a laid by Patriot Properties , David Bailey informed that he is sending' a proposed RFP to Town Counsel to review as well as asking what the feeling is about accepting bids without a formai. proposal but just the contract; he will await a reply. He then will send the bidders either the RFP or a contract - he will not use telephone bids . Leslie Greig asked who the other ad3oining towns use for Commercial Personal Property. David Bailey informed that Sandwich and Barnstable do there own. Upon suggestion from Mr. Greig, Mr. Bailey agreed to contact the Town of Sandwich Assessing to see if someone may accept ' an invitation to bid. Board Members expressed agreement. Lengthy discussion followed concerning the small kinds of businesses that exist in Mashpee compared to some large "off-Cape" cities. Leslie Greig made motion The Board accept The Minutes of The Meeting of May, 1 , 1994 as printed; Robert DeLory made second the motion; motion passed; unanimous decision. The Board accepted The Minutes as printed. I
