Board of Assessors Meeting Page 2. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> r'o2ress of RRCIs Commercial Personal. Pr'oper'ty Appraisal. <br /> David Bailey informed The Board that keypunching of <br /> valuation data is in progress ; within at week or so, a valuation <br /> packet should be ready for Assessing ' s review. RRC ' s <br /> representatives were not able to confer with a few businesses; <br /> they intend to complete these upon their return. <br /> Leslie Greig questioned RRC ' s progress results with the <br /> marketplace and who owns most of the equipment . David Bailey <br /> stated that RRC felt the results were satisfactory. New Seabury <br /> Company owns most of the equipment; in most eases, New Beabury <br /> requested that it simply be billed the Company was fairly <br /> resigned about the appraisal review. <br /> Mr. Greig also questioned RRC ' s progress results with the <br /> service center. Mr . Bailey informed that the issue of a person <br /> who owns equipment at that location and who never received .a tax <br /> bill has now been resolved. Another issue concerning a business <br /> who leases its equipment is being reviewed. <br /> David Bailey expressed opinion 'that RRC ' s valuation data <br /> will be presented to The Board during a business day in about a <br /> week; he feels that upon review of the data , - Assessing will <br /> present a lot of questions for discussion. RRC probably will <br /> drop off the data; Assessing will fully review it and probably <br /> use the- mall to finalize any decisions and/or to request <br /> additional. information. <br /> Retirement Party for Margaret Carmichael of Assessing <br /> David Bailey informed Board members that the Assessing <br /> Department Staff would life to take Ms . Carmichael and her <br /> husband to dinner; after dinner, The Flying Bridge in Falmouth <br /> has been selected as a meeting place for any members of the <br /> Mashpee Town Mall. Staff to have a drink and bid farewell to Ms . <br /> Carmichael , Discussion followed. <br /> Upcoming ATB Cases <br /> David Bailey informed Board Member's that nothing startling <br /> has happened to date. He did visit the property at Redbrook Road <br /> that the new owner had bought at auction for $ , o ; M â–ºshpee ' s <br /> valuation was $113 , 000 ; the owner applied for an abatement. Mr. <br /> Bailey was appalled at the Condition of the house, it violates <br /> just about every Code. <br />
