PORTER, CHAIRMAN ROBERT R. DeLORY , NICE CHAIRMAN LESLIE M. CREIC, CLERK DAVID A. BAILEY , DIRECTOR of ASSESSING The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman Porter at 6 : 10 p.m. _ MINUTES of THE MEETINGS. 1 Minutes of The Meeting of October 25 , 1994 Vice Chairman DeLory referred to Page 1 , minutes o September 27 , 1994 , Paragraph 20 ATB Cases - Dis osItion, United Church Tillage . He inquired of the status of this natter. David Bailey informed that Assessing had received some data last week, but it did not include anything he had hoped for. He has not spoken to the attorneys since the data arrived. Theme is nothing definitive in the information that he can submit to an appraiser. After he speaks to the attorneys , he will ask United Church Village ' s consultant just what the company is requesting. David Bailey expressed opinion that it is really not worth doing a $25 , 000 appraisal on that project, depending on what is being requested. Presently, the assessment is about $1 Million more than the Purchase Price. He believes the company received at least $One Half Million - probably more - from a grant shortly after it purchased the property ; the data on this grant is not clearly visible. He will request the attorneys to research for the enact amount of this grant if it does exist . 0 . United Church Tillage represents t-ives are claiming the grant does not exist. Upon questions from Board Members , David Bailey expressed opinion that Mash ee ' s attorney may be able to obtain some information on this grant from the current owner. Robert DeLory made motion The Board accept The Minutes of The Meeting of October 25 , 1994 as printed; Leslie Greig made second the motion ; motion passed, unanimous decision. The Minutes were accepted by The Board.
