■ ' Board of Assessors Meeting Page HEARING ON APPEAL TO ABATE REAL PROPERTY T TAXES UNDER CLAUSE 1 ,MAP 65 , PARCEL 119A - KAREN COSTA, OWNER (continued) Leslie Greig made comment that he has come to realize it is very difficult today for "a woman alone" to survive financially. He gave Ms . Costa an excellent reference to use after she receives her degree his ex-administrative assistant . a self-made individual now with a visiting nurse service headquartered in Hyannis she is in charge of the Plymouth office . Ms . Costa thanked Mr . Greig, and she stated she prefers this aspect of the nursing field. Chairman Porter informed Ms , Costa that Board Members now have enough information to make a decision, and he thanked her for appearing before The Board and wished her good luck. Ms . Costa thanked Mr. Porter , Mr. Greig , Mr. DeLory ,, and Mr . Bailey. She stated that she could not have accomplished hex goal without their understanding and help. Leslie Greig asked Board Members if their decisions would he favorable. All expressed agreement, each informing Ms . Costa of his decision, and each wishing her good luck. Chairman Porter stated that Ms . Costa will be able to "go home happy ! " David Bailey also wished her good luck. Ms . Costa again expressed her thanks to all . Leslie Greig made motion The Board provide an exemption in full for FY 1995 Taxes to Karen Costa , owner, Map 65 , Block 119A; ohert DeLor ' made second the motion; motion passed; unanimous decision. The Board granted the exemption in full . There being no further business before The Board for discussion, Leslie Greig made motion The Board adjourn the Executive Session and return to the Regular Session ; Robert DeLory rade second the motion; motion gassed; unanimous decision.
