PORTER, CHAIRMAN <br /> ROBERT R, DeLORY, VICE CHAIRMAN <br /> DAVID A. BAILEY, DIRECTOR OF ASSESSING <br /> ABSENT: LESLIE M. GREIGt CLERK <br /> The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman Porter <br /> at 6 : 30 p.m. Mr. Porter announced that Leslie Greig is absent <br /> this evening because he is still not feeling well. <br /> MINUTES OF THE MEETINGS <br /> Minutes of The Meeting of March 14 , 1995 <br /> Chairman Porter questioned Minutes of the Meeting of <br /> February 14 , 1995 , First Sentence, Vice Chairman DeLory ' s <br /> reference to Minutes of the Meeting of December 13 , 1994 <br /> David Bailey ' s statement that he has knowledge of State Laws that <br /> mandate yearly reappointments of Assessing employees and of State <br /> Laws that appoint many people on a three-gear basis . David <br /> Bailey also questioner the issue, pointing out that he did not <br /> find this reference in the December- 13 Minutes . The Board <br /> Secretary has corrected this reference by underlining Minutes o <br /> the Meeting of December 13 , 1994 , because it is the subject of <br /> the re erenee, t at is made in the Minutes of February 14 , 1995 . <br /> Vice Chairman DeLorr referred to Page 2 , Paragraph 2 , _ <br /> 126 , Parcel 1 ; he questioned the statins of this matter. David <br /> Bailey informed that he did write a letter which basically stated <br /> that the parcel listed as open space should be checked out before <br /> any decision is rade because there may be restrictions. The <br /> parcels at the entrance are worth their current assessments ; it <br /> is up to the Town to decide if these parcels should be purchased; <br /> this matter is not an appraisal issue. <br /> Lengthy discussion followed. Mr. Bailey agreed the Town <br /> will have to take a portion of these lots because the road <br /> encroaches on thea. <br /> Vice Chairman DeLory made motion The Board accept The <br /> Minutes of The Meeting of March 1 , 1995 as printed; Kenneth <br /> Porter made second the motion; notion passed; majority decision. <br /> The Minutes were accepted by The Board. <br />
