Board of Assessors Meeting Page <br /> Summer-'field Place - Reduction of Assessment continued <br /> Vice Chairman De ory made motion The Board reduce the FY1995 <br /> assessment of Summed field Place to $1. 6 Million; Leslie Gireig <br /> rade second the motion; notion passed; unanimous decision <br /> Leslie Greig informed -that the assessment reduction is <br /> subject to the Assessing Department obtaining a waiver from the <br /> owner of Summerfield Place stating that he will not contest the <br /> settlement.. David Bailey verified Mr. Greig ' s statement. <br /> Cape Cod Assessors Association - u2cominq Meeting <br /> .1.� ■y F I�I i -iYfl..p�� �r .gi�ggql� - <br /> David Bailey informed that the upcoming meetings is scheduled <br /> for this Friday at 9 : 30 a.m. in Yarmouth. He expressed opinion <br /> that this particular meeting should be worthwhile; he urged all <br /> Board Members to attend and include -the lunch , if at all <br /> possible. <br /> Lengthy discussion followed concerning the meeting- place and <br /> directions . Leslie Greig informed that Union Station Restaurant, <br /> located- at White ' s Patch and Station Avenue, is where the meeting <br /> will take place. Be stated that the location is South Yarmouth <br /> Fait 8 off the Mid-Cape Highway. <br /> OLD BUSINESS : <br /> Data Collector ' s Position <br /> Chairman Porter informed for The Record that Board Members <br /> met all afternoon to review the seven applicants ' professional <br /> quralif icatIons ; The Board has narrowed down the list of <br /> applicants from seven to approximately three or four oondidates . <br /> Update on Revaluation <br /> David Bailey informed, that Ms , Susan Moyn]-han of the .o.R. <br /> was in the Assessing Department tour performing a data quality <br /> 1 check of approximately loo properties . Be assumes that she has <br /> j completed her work and that her findings are positive , as she did <br /> leave an "OK's on his desk. <br /> Leslie Greig- questioned if these will be some sales <br /> printouts . Mr, Bailey stated that he will print out some from <br /> June of 1993 to this current date as well as from June of 1994 t <br /> this current date. He pointed out that thence are some sales just <br /> coming in that should prove handy. <br />
