PORTER,, CHAIRMAN <br /> ROBERT . DeLO1 Y , NICE CHAIRMAN <br /> LESLIE M. GREIGr CLERK <br /> DAVID A. BAILEY, DIRECTOR OF ASSESSING <br /> The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman Porter <br /> t 6 : 15 .m. <br /> MINUTES OF THE MEETINGS <br /> Minutes of The Meeting of AIRril 11 , 1995 <br /> Chairman Porter presented The Minutes for discussion, <br /> corrections , and approval . There was no discussion nor <br /> corrections . <br /> Nice Chairman DeLory made motion The Board accept The <br /> Minutes of The Meeting of April 11 , 1995 , as printed; Chairman <br /> Porter made second the motion; motion passed; majority decision. <br /> The Minutes were accepted by The Board. Leslie Greig refrained <br /> from voting as he was nt ' resent at that meeting. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Mashpee 1or} sho Agenda <br /> Chairman Porter asked if everyone had received a copy of the <br /> upcoming workshops . He stated that he would like to attend some <br /> of these . ' He pointed out that the printout asks for opinions on <br /> what direction the Town should follow. Mr. Porter expressed <br /> opinion that Mashpeer as a retirement area, is not being "pushed" <br /> enough ; also, he feels the Town is a natural as a vacation <br /> resort. Both cost very little in services to the 'Town , yet they <br /> bring in a fain amount of tax dollars. Lengthy discussion <br /> followed. <br /> vice Chairman DeLory asked about the schools . Chairman <br /> Porter stated he would like to see the 'schools remain as they <br /> are; by promoting Mashpee as both a vacation resort and a <br /> retirement area, he feels the schools would stay "static" . Mr. <br /> DeLory expressed agreement. <br />
