The Minutes were accepted by The <br /> .Board. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Sales File Information <br /> Chairman DeLory informed that he did question David Bailey <br /> about the printout data concerning Buyer/Seller information on <br /> many recent sales. Vice Chairman Greig explained that the <br /> problem is the proper data concerning "Buyer" has - not been <br /> entered into the computer. it. Bailey has a lot of work to do on <br /> obtaining identical information for both the Town File and the <br /> Assessors ' Sales File. <br /> Kenneth Porter inquired if the new Listor had started last <br /> week; he rade comment that he noticed i m in the off ice today <br /> taking training from both Ms . Susan Collum and Mr. Bailey. <br /> Leslie Greig informed that the Liston started just today. <br /> Vice Chairman Greig made suggestion that if some Board <br /> Member wished, he could make offer to David Bailey that he would <br /> be willing to get the Map Book of the Neighborhoods and show the <br /> Listoar around the Town . this would be very helpful for <br /> Assessing at this time, as David Bailey has a crammed schedule <br /> and very little time. Kenneth Porter stated that- he would show <br /> the Listor the Popponesset area, as David Bailey had requested. <br /> He recommended that Mr. Greig show the Listor the New Seabury <br /> area, and that Mr. DeLory show him Monomoseoy and the John ' s Pond <br /> area , and perhaps Daniels Island as Mr. DeLory is quite <br /> familiar with the Town. All Board Members expressed agreement. <br /> Chairman DeLory informed that David Bailey had told him he <br /> has leen researching recent sales; they appear to be- on therise; <br /> he would like to drop some of the bank sales , as they do not <br /> project this trend of higher sales . 'Vice Chairman Greig <br /> explained that even though sales may be booming from October to <br /> now, Assessing is supposed to have sales validity as of <br /> January 1. , 1994 . If we do not follow this procedure, the next <br /> time we have a revaluation there will be an 'Toff" period for <br /> sales . <br />
