Mr, Greig suggested that The <br /> Board request David Bailey to research this ratter thoroughly. <br /> Both Chairman DeLory and Mr. Greig recall that Mr. Bai.ley spoke <br /> about some new information circulated within the 'past two gears <br /> relevant to this ratter. Kenneth Porter stated' that he read <br /> through his Assessors ' manual and found nothing. .Chairman DeLory <br /> initiated more discussion pertaining to many problems that <br /> existed in past years because age is not defined in the law. <br /> Vice Chairman Greig- expressed opinion that the D.O.R. must <br /> be aware of this problem . . . perhaps this is the reason the <br /> matter is left up to the discretion of the local Boards o <br /> Assessors , Board Members expressed agreement. More discussion <br /> followed. Kenneth Porter questioned if there is a time limit <br /> I once an appeal under Clause 18 is filed with Assessing . Mr. Greig <br /> plans on visiting hien tomorrow; he will Xerox the information, <br /> then contact one ,the company representatives . <br /> Mr . Greig also informed that he needs to go downstairs into <br /> the storage room at Town Hall with Ray to measure the steel <br /> joists . Kenneth Porter initiated lengthy discussion regarding <br /> the particulars of the joists .
