The newspaper will be printing up a <br /> booklet of values . Also, he placed assessment information <br /> in the Library as well as at the Assessing counter. <br /> In the interim, from the time the data was seat to 'the <br /> D.O.R. a lr ost one month ago, Assessing has discovered about <br /> one dozen minor changes to be made now, documented and seat <br /> to the D.O.R. <br /> Then, Assessing will do the Growth hopefully before <br /> this Friday and hopefully, the Growth will be approved <br /> Friday or Noonday and we will have the hearing to set <br /> the Tax Rate on Monday evening at 6 ;45 p.m. Nor. Bailey will <br /> place an ad in the newspaper about the hearing. He <br /> explained that if the Growth approval does not happen on <br /> Monday, he would like to go ahead with the hearing, based on <br /> the assumption that it will be approved. If the Growth is <br /> not approved, the hearing will have to take place again in <br /> about another week . David Bailey pasted out that this <br /> year, the Growth will have no impact whatsoever on the Tax <br /> Rate. <br /> Mr. Balley stated that the Tax Rate will be somewhere <br /> between what it was last year and $14 . 16 . * . a very minor <br /> increase if at all . The District Tax should remain <br /> the same at 69 Cents. <br /> Chairman DeLory initiated lengthy discussion regarding the <br /> changes in various properties . Mr . Bailey stated that tomorrow <br /> he will print out a list of -the changes * He explained that <br /> except for the few areas that have significant changes , most of <br /> the changes are minor. Ile expressed opinion that Assessing will <br /> probably receive many questions because assessments did charge by <br /> lr O - $1j500 . . . but these minor. changes are insignifant in <br /> the whole scheme of things. <br /> The Personal Property Tax <br /> Chairman DeLory questioned David Bailey in regard to recent <br /> "talk" about eliminating the Personal Property Tax.
