Property Abatements <br /> Abatements Granted (continued) <br /> Leslie Greig made motion The Board accept the List <br /> of Abatements Granted as read into the Record; Kenneth Porter <br /> made second the motion ; motion passed; unanimous decision. The <br /> List of Abatements Granted was accepted by The Board. <br /> Status of Abatement Applications <br /> David Bailey informed The Board that two applications <br /> are in process of being deemed denied. Upon question from <br /> Chairman DeLory,, Mr. Bailey explained that the owners withdrew <br /> their appeals after; he spoke. with therm. In order to avoid <br /> confusion, he feels they should not be seat a formal notice <br /> stating that The Board voted to deny. <br /> Vice Chairman Greig informed that three applications <br /> have not yet been acted upon;* Board Members will have to discuss <br /> these properties all are located in Popponesset. The <br /> application numbers are 32 , 39 , and 58. <br /> Board of Assessors Upcoming Meeting schedule <br /> Kenneth Porter informed {that the next scheduled regular <br /> meeting is Tuesday, April. 9th at 6 :00 p.m. Short discussion <br /> followed. David Bailey informed Board Members that he probably <br /> will {not be able to attend; he does have an out-of-town meeting <br /> to attend on April 10th and 11th. Leslie Greig informed that he <br /> will be in Maryland over the Easter holiday and will not be able <br /> to attend the meeting on April 9th. Mr. Bailey suggested that a <br /> daytime meeting could be scheduled, if necessary, to vote on the <br /> remaining abatement appeals. All Board Members expressed <br /> agreement. <br /> The Board cancelled the scheduled regular meeting of <br /> April 9 , 1936 . It will meet next, as scheduled, on the Tuesday <br /> of April 23 , 1996 , at 6 : 00 p.m. <br /> Assessing Department ' s Upcoming Dove <br /> David Bailey informed that the Department will be <br /> roving into a trailer at the rear of Town Hall within the next <br /> few weeks while Its new office space is being prepared. <br />
