Leslie <br /> Greig informed for The Record that the first two applications <br /> relate to Map 7 (Map 7 /Block 20 and Map 7 /Block 22 ) - Fields <br /> Point and Forth Market street Association. The third application <br /> relates to Map123/Block 53 - Christopher Burden, the <br /> MarketPlace. <br /> Chairz an Greig informed that David Bailey did <br /> request information from each of these applicants ; in all cases , <br /> he did not receive a response* Vice Chairman Porter stated that <br /> The Board of Assessors does not have enough information to make a <br /> decision; therefore, The Board must deny these three Abatement <br /> Applications . <br /> Chairman Greig informed that the List of <br /> Abatements Denied consists of 1 wage; it begins with Application <br /> 3 - Fields Point LP; it ends with Application #11.0 - <br />,. Christopher Burden C/O Gildea; the List totals 3 Denials . (A <br /> copy of the 'List of Abatements Den-led, fully executed by Board <br /> Members , is attached to These Minutes . ) <br /> Vice Chairman Porter made motion the Board accept <br /> the List of FY1997 Real Estate Abatement Applications Denied on <br /> April 8 , 1997 , as presented and explained by Chairman Greig; <br /> Marcia King made second the motion; motion passed; unanimous <br /> decision. The List was accepted by the Board. <br /> NE /OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Old Furniture/Filing a i.nets for Assessing DejRartment <br /> y David Barley asked the status of the Otis furniture. <br /> Chairman Greig informed that he will f ind out by Thursday or <br /> Friday of this week. He will check on old filing cabinets , also. <br /> Mr. Bailey pointed out that the filing cabinets do not have to be <br /> in good condition they will be stored in the Mashpee Town <br /> Mall attic. Mr. Greig stated that he did see some that were <br /> definitely not in good condition. <br /> Vice Chairman Greig informed that old furniture, etc. <br /> does come into Otis from time to time Assessing is bound to <br /> find something suitable. Short discussion followed. <br />
