Board of Assessors Meeting Pane <br /> 1W BUSINESS: <br /> pUpcoming Plan to Re-grade WillowBend Pro r i s <br /> David Bailey informed that he and Susan Collum will be <br /> visiting WillowBend, hopefully next week, to re-grade all of the <br /> land . . . now that it is divided, we will know where everything <br /> is . . Short discussion followed. Chairman Greig made comment that <br /> the upcoming field review will be good for Susan, vice Chairman <br /> Porter informed that he noticed Steve out there 3ust today. Mr. <br /> Bailey explained that Steve is working on New Construction. <br /> Vice Chairman Porter asked if there will be many <br />=' changes. Mr. Bailey explained that there will be a lot of <br /> changes; however, there will not be much change overall . At <br /> present , golf-course-front properties are basically one price; <br /> off-golf-course-front properties are another price . <br /> David Bailey further explained that previously, <br /> Assessing did not have any subdivision plans ; we knew only that <br /> there would be 280 lots. Assessing acquired some information on <br /> a few of these lots over a period of time. Now r that many have <br /> been delineated, we have the opportunity to go out and look at <br /> 4D particular lots to establish which lots are good and which lots <br /> are bad. <br /> Upon question from vice Chairman Porter, Mr. Bailey <br /> informed that al.1 the lots had been assessed at an average price <br /> of about $175 , 000 each• they average about 20 , 000 squa re feet <br /> each. They will probably be assessed from $130 ,000 to $250 , 000. <br /> Side discussions followed. Marcia King expressed opinion that <br /> the lots located t the back side where it, is �uieter� il.l be <br /> more desirable and most likely will be more costly than the <br /> lots located at the front side where street traffic creates a lot <br /> of noise .
