4. NOTE: The Mashpee Board of Assessors did not hold Board Meetings <br /> on the Tuesdays of April. 15 and April 22 , 1997 . The <br /> scheduled Regular Board Meeting of April 22nd was <br /> cancelled and rescheduled for Monday evening, April. 28th. <br /> MASHPEE BOARD OF ASSESSORS MINUTES of APRIL 280, 1997 <br /> PRESENT: LESLIE M. GREIGr CHAIRMAN <br /> KENNETH A. PORTER, VICE CHAIRMAN <br /> MARCIA R. KING, CLERK <br /> DAVID A. BAILEY, DIRECTOR OF ASSESSING <br /> The regular meeting was held in the Assessing Department ' <br /> new offices located in the newly renovated Town Hall , Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts , The meeting was called to order by Chairman Greig <br /> at : 1.8 p.m. <br /> MINUTES of THE MEETINGS: <br /> Minutes of The Meetina of Manch 2 , 1997. <br /> Board Members reviewed "the minutes" . There were no <br /> corrections , nor was there any discussion. <br /> Vice Chairman Porter rade motion The Board accept The <br /> Minutes of The Meeting of March 25 , 1997 as printed- Marcia King <br /> rade second the motion; motion passed; unanimous decision. The <br /> Minutes were accepted by The Board. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Discussion on the Study Committee of the DCPC Re ardin <br /> Water Pollution in Certain- Areas of Mash ee <br /> Chairman Greig introduced the issue. He explained it <br /> is the result of a Petition Article instructing The Board o <br /> Selectmen to incorporate certain regulations to deal with the <br /> water pollution problem. He informed that the DCPC Committee <br /> (District of Critical Planning Concern) has selected one person <br /> from the Assessing Department to serve on theommittee <br /> concerning this particular matter. Mr. Greig has given each <br /> Assessor information dor review, and he <br /> expressed opinion that <br /> the issue is such a complex and emotional situation, he sloes not <br /> think it possible for the Committee to make a recommendation in <br /> two meetings . He personally wants the meetings extended every <br /> two weeks until Town Meeting in October, <br />
