David <br /> Bailey referred to the map; -he stated that all of the expensive <br /> areas are exempt from these proposed regulations because <br /> pollution has not happened there yet. Lengthy discussion <br /> followed. <br /> Upon question from Marcia King, Leslie Greig again <br /> stated that it is impossible to make affirmative conclusions in <br /> two 'meetings ; this issue should be tabled until next October. <br /> Marcia King stated that she would very much life Mr. Greig to <br /> keep the Board of Possessors informed of any findings; we should <br /> eventually take a stand. David Bailey stated that he would very <br /> much life to see Chairman Greig ' s committee come up with an <br /> estimated cost for this area; also, look a little beyond this <br /> particular area to see if any of _the costs can be shared with the <br /> rest of the Town, if it is inevitable that in order to clean up <br /> these bays, something will have to be clone Town-wide thea <br /> it should be done Town-wide .• not for just one section of the <br /> Town. <br /> Chairman Greig pointed out that there is much missing <br /> in the studies by the Cape God Commission. The parcel count i <br /> very similar to what he has but the Commission did. not put <br /> in the valuation of the parcel count, which is extremely high. <br /> Vice Chairman Porter stated that he is in favor of a sewage <br /> treatment plant . . . then, the whole Town would have to pay for <br /> it . . . there are far too many moderate income families . Also, <br /> he would life to see the Federal Government and the State deeply <br /> involved in this issue. Chairman Greig expressed agreement; and <br /> he expressed hope that this matter can be deferred and that the <br /> Board of Selectmen do not have to act immediately. This would <br /> give the Committee a chance to obtain valuable information and to <br /> make sensible recommendations . Board Members and David Bailey <br /> expressed agreement. <br /> Board of Possessors Meeting Schedule <br /> The next Regular Board Meeting is scheduled to take <br /> place on Tuesday, May 13 , 1997 , at 6 : 00 p.m. <br />
