A <br /> commercial reval will be about $20 ,000, and about $10 , 000 for <br /> personal. property. In addition, there will be about 25 hours of <br /> ind pendent consulting at per hour, and about $3, 000 for <br /> supplies . 24 , 000 property record cards will Deed to be <br /> printed one set f or the review and one set when reval is <br /> finished. Mr. Bailey also informed that funds need to be in the <br /> reval account in order to sign a contract. <br /> Vice Chairman Porter made motion the Board approve the <br /> article: To see if the Torn will. transfer $25, 000 from the <br /> Overlay Surplus Account to the Assessor' s Revaluation Account; <br /> Chairman Greig made second the motion; notion passed. Marcia <br /> King voted in the affirmative; unanimous vote. The Board <br /> approved the article for fall town meeting of October 1997 . <br /> *********Chairman Greig then excused himself from the Assessors <br /> Board Meeting to attend an important Mashpee watershed Meeting <br /> (formerly the DCPC Study Committee) . <br /> NEW/OLD BUN <br /> Update on Stephen Ewing ' s Medical Problem <br /> Mr . Porter requested a report on the istor ' s medical. <br /> condition. Upon question by Ms . King, David Bailey assured that <br /> the following up-to-date details can be safely disclosed in this <br /> Open Board Meeting rather than in an Executive Session: <br /> Stephen Ewing was out of work ( since Enid-January) <br /> because of a car accident, used up all of his vacation . <br /> and sick time, came back for a short period of time <br /> M . . perhaps two weeks . . . and never really <br /> performed up-to-speed, then was out of work again on an <br /> injury that turned out to be a chronic liver condition <br /> he has had for apparently some time. <br /> Steve seat a letter to the Personnel. Department <br /> describing his medical condition as serious and that he <br /> may need a transplant. Both Personnel and I have tried <br /> to contact hien . . . 1 spoke with him only twice since <br /> he has been out . . . once was early today. Marilyn <br /> Farren has Left numerous messages for hien he was <br /> in the hospital last week. <br />
