r • Board of Assessors Meeting Page Discussion on Town of Mashpee Sales Land Use Analysis Report Dated Se tember 9 , 19 continued Santuit Pond continued sales off the water but only one or two on the water the area tools a jump last year. Chairman Greig expressed opinion there will be actIvity in Santuit Pond in the near future } people are starting to sell . New Seabur . Chairman Greig questioned the status in regard to changes in value. Mr, Bailey informed that some of the nicer Properties on the river . . . the points on the river where there -is no traffic has increased to about and is feathered down to about to away from the points . Be feels that Golf Course Properties will be increased somewhat and perhaps some minor increases in properties away from the golf course . Short discussion followed. I onomoseo . vice Chairman Porter questioned the status in regard to changes in value. He pointed out properties that were just over $100,000 to $125 , 000 are now $170 , 000 , $185 , 000 , . $250, 000 . Mar. Bailey explained that many are o - waterfront; he expressed feeling that many of these structures will be torn down. Both Mr. Porter and Mr. Greig expressed, agreement. Discussion followed concerning expensive houses being built to replace houses torn down after sale in those areas where beautiful views exist. Mausho2 Village Condominiums . Chairman Greig asked about the sea wall . Mr. Bailey informed he already changed the assessinents of a few of the cottages that were in peril and had received a reduction in assessment until last year when plans t build the sea wall were finalized. Short discussion followed. Timeframe for Completion of Chan es . Upon question from Chairman Greig, David Bailey expressed opinion that by October 15 all of the changes should be completed unless there is a problem with extensive data entry. David Bailey informed that the Growth Report should then be completed -and submitted; it should be approved by the first weep of December we try _ to allow a month for approval . Assessing will then need at least one Board Member present who has been through a previous Classification Hearing . Chairman an Greig informed he may be away at that time and suggested that vice Chairman Porter be present for signature. Marcia King infori ed she - has checked and found that she, also, can be present for signature. Short discussion followed.
