MASBPEE BOARD OF ASSESSORS MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 23t 1997 PRESENT: LESLIE M, CRB IG, CHAIRMAN KENNETH A. PORTER, MICE CHAIRMAN MRCIA R. SNC, CLERK{ DAVID A. BAILEY, DIRECTOR OF ASSESSING The regular meeting was helm in the Assessing Department ' s new offices located In the newly renovated Town Rall , Mashpee, Massachusetts . The meeting was called to order by Chairman Greig at 6 : 17 p.m. I . MINUTES OF THE MEETINGS Minutes of The Meet.in2 of August 2 , 1997 Board members and David Bailey reviewed "the minutes . 1' There was no discussion , nor were there any corrections . Mice Chairman Porter mace motion The Board accept The Minutes - of The Meeting of August 26 , 1997 as printed; Marcia King made second the rot on; motion passed; unanimous decision, The Minutes were accepted by The Board. EW/CLD BUSINESS Timeframe for Completion of Proposed Value Changes for Fiscal Year 1998 Chairman Greig- questioned what date in October should be selected for the next Regular Board of Assessors Meeting and what information is going to be available to review, etc . David Bailey informed there will be a lot of i - nformation ready on October 7 ; he did not know if all the changes would be completed by this date. He pointed out that Town Meeting tames place on the Monday evening of October ; there is a possibility that Town Meeting will continue on the Monday evening of October 13 . Assessing should have all of the proposed value changes completed by Tuesday, October 14 a good date to select for the next Board Meeting . fir. Bailey also informed that he needs to speak with Susan Collum about how much of the Growth Report Assessing will be able to complete. Board Members all agreed that the next Regular Board Meeting should be held on Tuesday evening, October 1 .
