efficacy in handling all types of betterments that the Assessing Department administers, <br /> including septic, severer and waiter. <br /> Review of Proposed changes to Fees for Abutters List Requests <br /> Jason Streebel stated that the Assessing Department currently charges 50 cents per <br /> page pi u s $1.00 per page for mailing labels to process abutter list requests, not tatting <br /> into account any charge for labor involved. Jason Streebel stated that Mass. Guidelines <br /> allows for printing costs as well as the processing time of the lowest-paid employees to <br /> process the abutters lists. <br /> Gregg Fraser made a motion that the Board approve the recommended increase in fees <br /> for prepanng requested abutters lists, taping into account the cost for labor involved in <br /> processing the lists. Sheldon Holzer seconded the motion. The motion was <br /> unanimously approved. <br /> • Discussion of May Town Meeting Warrant <br /> Jason Streebel stated that other than a few questions, he did not anticipate any <br /> controversial issues arising regarding the projected tax rate, which the Financial <br /> Committee has developed based upon one of Jason Streebel's pro*eotions of 5 Y2 % <br /> value loss town-wide, based upon property sales in 2009. <br /> Request from Tac Collector to Abate Uncollectible 2008 Property Taxes <br /> .Mason Streebel stated that the tax collector has requested that the Assessing office <br /> abate the uncollectible FY 2008 taxes on torn-owned property, amounting to $102.28, <br /> located at 27 Meetinghouse load, Map'36, Parcel 27. <br /> Sheldon Holzer crude a motion that the Board approve the abatement of uncollectible <br /> FY 2008 takes on town-owned property located at 27 Meetinghouse Road, Map 36, <br /> parcel 27. Gregg Fraser seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> Review of ` A C' charitable Organization Applications for Exemption <br /> Jason Streebel reported that no.response hes been received from the Wampnag tribe <br /> regarding the Assessing office denial of their real estate abatement application for <br /> property at 21.3 Sampson's Mill Road. <br /> Sheldon Holzer made a motion to approve the use 6f the Board's signature stamps on <br /> the Form AC's, for those that are recommended for approval, Gregg Fraser <br /> seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> Sheldon Holzer made a motion to deny the 3ABC Charitable organization Applications <br /> r Exemption from Falmouth Hospital Association, Inc., Medical Affiliates of Cape Cod: <br /> Inc., h'and Cape Cod health Care Foundation, Inc., based on lactic of required information <br /> provided by Falmouth Hospital. Gregg Fraser seconded the motion. Themotion was <br /> unanimously approved. <br /> Sheldon Holzer made a motion to approve a partial 3ABC Charitable Organization <br /> Application exemption for the Roman Catholic Bishop of Fall Fiver, Corp. Sole. Gregg <br /> pp <br /> Fraser seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> 3 <br />
