PUBLIC colll'IMENTS No public comments. ' REVIEW II of MINUTES Sheldon Holzer made a motion that the Board approve as presented the minutes from the Board of Assessors Public Session held on 5/27/10. Gregg Fraser seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. Sheldon Holzer made a motion that the Board approve as presented the minutes from the Board of Assessors Executive Session held on 27/10. Paul Andrews seconded the motion. The motion was'unarnirnously approved. BOARD of ASSESSORS REPORTS - [ o reports. DIRECTOR of ASSESSING REPORT 1. Flooding Area — Peter's Pond ' Jason Streebel distributed copies of a photograph of the neighborhood off Pimlico Pond Road, East Road, and Park Road.d. The photograph illustrates the current flooded condition of the neighborhood. It is possible that some flooding damage has occurred to somje neighborhood properties and may affect their values. The community beach} which residnts pay 40 per year to use, is under water. Jason Streebel stated that the reason this flooding may be significant is that the pond is spring-fed, in which case the water level may not go down but may star the same. 2. MAAo spring conference Jason Streebel reminded the Board that next Tuesday through Friday: June 2 -2t the Massachusetts Association of Assessing Officers spring conference is being held in South Yarmouth at the Red Jacket Inn. :Jason Streebel and Jinn Bond, will be attending the conference. . Board of selectmen's Agenda — lune 21, 2010 at 6:40 PM. Jason Streebel reminded the Board members of two Assessing items that are included for consideration by the BOS on their meeting agenda for 6/21/10. One item is the request for an increase in fees for providing aburtters3 lists; the second Rem is the request for possible inclusion of the tax rate breakdown in next year's tax bills. Jason stated that BOA attendance at the meeting is welcome but not necessary.
