Supplemental Bill Abatement Application — 22 Lanyard Way <br /> ,Jason Streebel explained that the Assessing Office is recommending an abatement in <br /> the amount of$11,493 from their purchase price, the value of the furniture they <br /> purchased with the property. <br /> GreggFraser made a motion that the Board approve the supplemental abatement <br /> appli 'tion from the owners of the property at 22 Lanyard Way. Sheldon Holzer <br /> seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> . Motor Vehicle Abatement Application--.Jonathan M. Place <br /> Gregg Fraser made a motion to deny the Motor Vehicle Abatement application submitted <br /> by ,Jonathan M. Place. Sheldon Holzer seconded the motion. The motion was <br /> unanimously approved. <br /> . New Growth Estimates for FY2011 (see Attachment B) <br /> Jason Streebel reported that total new growth valuation-this year is going to be <br /> $39,665,525. Last year that figure was close to $81,000,000. .Jason stated that the <br /> town had previously been losing about $20,000,000 per year. ,Jason Streebel stated that <br /> as a result of an ATS and S JC decision, Mashpee now has $5,00 , in new growth <br /> from personal property wireless poles and wires we are now taking for the first time over <br /> public ways. <br /> 4. Press Release e: Tac Rate Breakdown (see Attachment C <br /> .Jason Streebel stated that he had envisioned that the pass release be issued prior to <br /> the tax bill being issued. Jason also recommended that as a courtesy a copy be seat to <br /> the oaird of Selectmen in time for review at their next meeting. <br /> Sheldon Holzer made a motion that the Board approve the daft of the press release as <br /> the press release. Gregg Fraser seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously <br /> approved. . <br /> Sheldon Holzer made a motion that the Director of Assessing give the press release to <br /> the Cape Cod Times and the Mashpee Enterprise after the Board of Selectmen have <br /> reviewed and given their approval of the document. Gregg Fraser seconded the motion. <br /> The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> The Board considered theP ossibility of having a second press release toward the end of <br /> December that would include the actual tax figures. <br /> 2 <br />
