Paul Andrews seconded the motion. The motion was <br /> unanimously approved. <br /> Gregg Fraser made a motion that the minutes from the Board of Assessors Executive session <br /> held on 3/17/11 be approved as presented. Paul Andrews seconded the motion. The motion <br /> was unanimously approved. <br /> DIRECTOR OF ASSESSING -OFFICE ACTIVITY REPORT . <br /> 1. Data collector Position Vacancy. ,Jason streebel reported that he has been conducting <br /> interviews for the vacant Assessing Mice position of Data Collector. Eight candidates have <br /> been interviewed, with the field narrowed down to three, and one chosen who is currently <br /> undergoing a background reference check. Jason is hopeful that the new candidate will start as <br /> soon as May 21 2011. <br /> nd <br /> . Town Meeting May 2 <br /> Jason streebel stated that he will be unable to attend the May 2" Town Meeting and asked that <br /> Board members be present in his absence. .Jim Bond will be in attendance, as well. some <br /> questions may cone up at the meeting regarding projected tax rates for FY 12 budgets and the <br /> assessments. .Jason stated that in October 2010 he gage the Finance Committee a projected <br /> % drop in assessments for the sales in 201,0, which that committee used in making their <br /> projected tax rate. Two things the Finance committee may not have taken into account are new <br /> i growth for the coming year and excess level capacity. Gregg Fraser asked that ,Jason provide <br /> backup information to BOA members to assist in their response to possible questions that may <br /> arise at the town meeting. Jason streebel will be working on a refinement of the projected tax <br /> rate using the excess capacity new growth, as well as the latest 3.41% decrease from the <br /> l <br />
