6 <br /> Capital Improvement Program Committee <br /> Minutes - <br /> cmbr I , 2006 <br /> School: <br /> Additional priorities of the School Department are continuations of the <br /> CIP program which include System-Wide Technology Infrastructure, <br /> Phase III in the amount of$75,000 to complete the final upgrade. It was <br /> noted that $75,000 was apTiropriated last year. The School Department <br /> has been working with the Town's MIS Director to complete the upgrade. <br /> The replacement of the K.C. Coombs and Quashnet Schools flooring <br /> Phase II is an ongoing CIP appropriation. The sun of$165,000 is <br /> estimated to remove and replace remaining carpets and the in the area of <br /> public safety. <br /> Thi suxn of l,foo is-requested to replace aging HVAC units that serve <br /> the kitchen, loading dock and boiler room area in the Quashnet School. <br /> The project is considered as Phase II since $40,000 was appropriated last <br /> year for this function. The cafeteria HVAC unit was deemed the most <br /> critical for replacement. The budget was requested to be further defined <br /> and reduced to include an additional phase to the project proposal. <br /> The Mashpee High School Air Conditioning upgrade, a feasibility study to <br /> include engineering plans is an ongoing CIl. request and estimated to cost <br /> $25,000.
