8 <br /> Capital Improvement Program Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> December 1 , Zoo <br /> Police: (continued) <br /> To maintain cost control, discussion followed regarding the merge of the <br /> police security with the system as requested by the School Department. A <br /> meeting would be facilitated by the Assistant Town Manager between the <br /> Police Chief and School Department to further refer this matter. <br /> The replacement of thirty aging computers is contained in the Police <br /> Department capital budget request. It was noted the-MIS Department is <br /> presently addressing this reed in their capital request for FY08. <br /> Chief Collins requested the Committee consider a Deeds Assessment <br /> Study to review the current Police building. The sum of$35,000 is. <br /> co asi erect for architectural services to include the development of <br /> conceptus schematics for the construction of a new facility. <br /> i <br /> It was agreed the natter was appropriate for CI'. The request will be <br /> forwarded to the Manning& Construction.Committee for comment. <br /> Next Scheduled M etin : <br /> Tuesday, January 9, 2007 <br /> 2:00 p.m. <br /> Town lull, Conference Room#1 <br /> FY08 Projects to be prioritized by the CIP Committee. <br /> Motion made by lis.
