3 <br /> Capital Improvement Program Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> February 2 ,2009 <br /> Deliberations--FY2 10 CIP Budget: <br /> The CIP Committee prioritized the Town Building eels*Assessment t <br /> allow for the hiring of a consultant to conduct a comprehensive needs <br /> assessment of all Ton buildings, The sum of$60,000 would assist in the <br /> development of a maintenance/capital improvement plan for all Town <br /> buildings and schools. The assessment would also identify and prioritize <br /> long terra capita project needs for the capital improvement program. <br /> At a time of fiscal, constraints,the Mashpee Cable and Advanced <br /> Technology MCAT Board` vas requested to consider the funding of <br /> several cable and advanced technology related projects contained in the <br /> capital improvement program. <br /> In response to the CIP request,the MCAT Board aged to fund relevant <br /> calve and advanced technology projects to assist the following <br /> departments, $40,000 for Information Technology IT $40,000 for <br /> School related technology, and $40,000 for the Town surveillance project. <br /> For ease of appropriation, it was agreed the.MCAT fin,cline-20,000 <br /> would be earmarked to the CII'I rogrwn and thea transferred to the <br /> respective departments to support the following projects- <br /> IT PC Replacements $30,000 PC Replacement Program <br /> Tape Backup l QP00 Storage of Taped Data <br /> SCHOOL <br /> PC/Projectors $4Q0000 Classroom PC/Projectors <br /> Replacement Program <br /> TOWN SURVEILLANCE $40,000 Phase I Program <br /> Digital Surveillance Cameras <br /> Install Card Reader Access <br /> NKAT an identified funding source for the above referenced capital <br />
