Capital Improvement Program Committee <br /> Waut s ` <br /> March 4, 20 10 <br /> CII' PROGRAM—PY2011: (continued) <br /> Phone System U12gade—MCAT Pun in : conti u.ed <br /> Motion mach by Mrs. Cook to move forward with the Phone System <br /> Upgrade for a sum not to exceed $20, as Identified with the use of <br /> MCAT as the designated funding source. <br /> Motion seconded by Mrs. Goulart. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Tow,Clerk—Voting Machines—Assessor's Release of Overly lus: <br /> The Town Clerk urged the CIP to support the purchase of 5 new voting <br /> machines to replace the aging voting machines. This past year,the <br /> Elections System& Software has announced they Will no longer support <br /> the OPTECH voting machines currently used by the Torn of Ma.s pee. <br /> The purchase is deemed critical and the new machines are amortized for a <br /> term of 20 years <br /> It was disclosed that a funding source has been identified in Overlay <br /> Surplus which is pending certification from the Board of Assessors. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Cooly to support the capital purchase of 5 new <br /> voting machines for a sum not to exceed $37,500 pending the use of <br /> overlay Surplus to be vert ed and released by the Board of <br /> Assessors. <br /> Motion seconded by Mrs. Goulart. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -0. <br /> i <br /> 3 <br />
