Of importance is the replacement of <br /> the 198$tractor mower used by the department to mow athletic fields, roads and <br /> other Town properties. The CIP request is$65,000. The aging tractor would be <br /> used as a trade-in to offset the purchase of a neer machine. Ms. Laurent indicated. <br /> that repairs-are costly and it has become difficult to locate parts. <br /> The.DPW has also,prioritized the replacement-of the 1996 F' 50 ne-{Ton,Duma <br /> Truck, a vehicle transferred from the DPW to the school in 2006. The truck in <br /> poor condition was taken off the road in 2010. 1t has siee been sold. The <br /> projected cost of a One-Ton Dump Truck is $50,000. <br /> Additional CIP recommendations FY2013 include the replacement of 0,2000 <br /> F350 Trucks, a cosh of$3.5,000 each and the replacement of 1, P15 0 Pick- <br /> Mp truck at a cost of$35,000. The vehicles are used daily b IPS personnel. All <br /> . y p <br /> vehicles are 12-years old, and would be used as a trade-in against the purchase of <br /> new vehicles.
