CPA (Community Preservation Act) update/Report from liaison: Mr. Halpern stated that they haven't met <br /> in some time, but will be meeting next Tuesday. Mrs. Botsford stated that she will be there to review the <br /> housing authority's applications for CPA funding to resubmit for Phases I, II, and III of the Housing <br /> Assistance Program. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS/CORRESPONDENCE: Mrs. Botsford mentioned that she had forwarded the <br /> MassNAHRO newsletter and just wanted to point out that there were two pages this month dedicated to <br /> board member responsibilities. She provided a copy to all board members. <br /> After a brief discussion, it was decided that the next regular meeting would be scheduled for Thursday, <br /> December 6, 2007 at 5:30 PM instead of December 13. Mrs. Botsford will send a notification to town hall. <br /> A motion was made by Mr. Laporte and seconded by Ms. Garron to adjourn. The motion <br /> carried. We have one unit vacant, <br /> which I expect to be rented by mid-November. <br /> Breezy Acres/705: We are at 100% occupancy but have one tenant who has not paid her rent in full. <br /> A 14-Day Notice to Quit was served. <br /> Misc.- <br /> • The budget was not approved by DHCD as submitted. I have been talking with Tom Joy to <br /> discuss our options and how to approach. I expect to have a new proposal ready for our board <br /> meeting, along with a letter to DHCD, which should be signed by the chair. <br /> • According to Peabody Properties, as of October 31, 2007 55 of the 56 units are rented at Asher's <br /> Path. 33 of the 55 tenants were Mashpee residents before moving in. <br /> • The opening of the three bedroom waiting lists for MRVP Project Based and 705/Bree7y Acres has <br /> been approved by DHCD for effective November 19, 2007. Advertisements will run in the Cape <br /> Cod Times and the Enterprise, as required. <br /> • The monthly MRVP/AHVP/DMH reports were submitted. <br /> • The monthly Energy Consumption reports were submitted. <br /> AHVP Vouchers: We have 1 AHVP voucher. <br /> MRVP Vouchers(Mobile): Currently we have 13 voucher holders in Mashpee. <br /> MRVP Project Based Vouchers: We currently have 35 PB Vouchers leased. <br /> DHM Program: We currently have 3 leased. <br /> Section 8: We currently have 11 Housing Choice Vouchers leased in Mashpee. <br /> -3 - <br />
