Enter into a ninety-nine 99 year ground lease (the"Lease's with Great Cove <br /> pursuant to which a portion of the Land shall be leased to Great cove upon which <br /> Great cove shall construct the Project; and <br /> . Enter into an Amended and Restated Agreement Between the Town of Ma hpee, the <br /> MHA, the Housing Assistance corporation and Great Cove for the Treatment and <br /> Disposal of Wastewater pursuant to which MHA shall construct certain wastewater <br /> facilities to connect Breezy Acres I and the Project to a wastewater treatment plant <br /> owned by the Town of Mashpee (the"Wastewater Agreement"); and <br /> . To undertake and anter into any and all such other contracts, agreements, <br /> construction contracts, pledges, and transactions as are necessary or desirable to <br /> carry out the MHA's obligations under the Lease and the Wastewater Agreement <br /> (including, without limitation, such adjustments to the nature, source, amount or <br /> terms of the foregoing agreements as may be necessary or desirable in the judgment <br /> of any of the authorized persons identified below) and including any amendment or <br /> restatements or additional agreements required in connection therewith. <br /> Resolved: In connection with the foregoing, that Leila Botsford, acting in her capacity as the Executive <br /> Director of MHA and any officer of MHA, each acting singly, shall take all such actions, and <br /> shall enter into, execute and deliver all documents he or she deems necessary or desirable, in <br /> his or her sole and continuing discretion, on behalf of MHA, including, without limitation, such <br /> adjustments to the nature, source, amount or terms of the financing described above as he <br /> or she deems necessary or desirable and to ratify any action previously taken by Leila <br /> Botsford or any ether officer of MHA in such role in connection with the Lease and the <br /> Wastewater Agreement. <br /> This resolution shall tale effect immediately, Mr. Harsch moved that the foregoing <br /> resolutions be adopted as introduced and read, which motion was seconded by Mr. Laporte <br /> and upon roll call the""Ayes"and AA "were as follows: <br /> Ages Nays <br /> David Harsch <br /> Richard Halpern <br /> Francis Laporte <br /> Kevin Shackett <br /> The chairperson thereupon declared said motion carried and said resolution adopted. <br /> Torn land available: Mr. Harsch gent to the April 8 selectmen's meeting but our request was not on the <br /> agenda. Mrs. Botsford will send an email to the Town Manager and request that Mr. Harsch be able to be <br /> heard at the meeting on Monday, April 22. The housing authority wishes to be able to get a <br /> feasibility study done for the Ashurnet Road parcel across from Heritage Pari 1 .1 acres) and <br /> if it would be feasible to develop affordable housing on the site, we would thea request this <br /> parcel be transferred to the housing authority for that purpose. Mr. Harsch will be representing <br /> the housing authority to request that the selectmen simply support this action before vire rove <br /> ahead and try to find grant resources for the study. Mrs. Botsford mentioned that there was a <br /> workshop on May 8 from 4-6 Pial in west Barnstable about cottage Housing as Affordable <br /> Housing.
