New member <br /> Michelle Springer was welcomed to the meeting. <br /> APPROVAL o S- une 11 2013 <br /> Mr. Johnson made a motion to approve the minutes as distributed. Ms, Egloff seconded <br /> the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Feasibility Study Status <br /> Chairman Abbott reported that the study was discussed at last night's Board of Selectman <br /> meeting. The Chair stated that to issues were discussed regarding the study. First, the bid <br /> offered totaled $127000. Horsley Witten stated that information produced would be owned by <br /> the firm rather than the Town and Selectmen felt that the study results should be owned by the <br /> Town for $12,900. Additionally, it was stated that other charges could be incurred, such as <br /> copies and phone calls, and an estimate was provided that additional charges would not exceed <br /> $500. Board of Selectmen planned to ch .age wording `not to exceed $121,5001" and the <br /> contract was approved with plans that the Town Manager would follow up with the firm in order <br /> to ensure Mashpee's right to utilize the document, <br /> Discussion of 14 lots from the Warrant <br /> The Chair indicated that he had invited Maw Waygan to attend tonight's meeting. The Chair <br /> stated that the Planning Board had reviewed the lots as well. Mr. Johnson described the make-up <br /> of 1 f h ee#s Land group which included Selectmen Cahalane and Richardson, the Town <br /> Manager, Town Planner, Town Assessor and the Assistant Town Manager. Mr. Johnson <br /> attended as an observer. It was noted at the meeting that two warrants had failed at Town <br /> Meetings regarding available to -owned lots. <br /> At the recent meeting, the Land Group had rwommended to the Board of Selectmen that three <br /> individual warrants be included for the October Torn Meeting, one each for a 5.8acre parcel on <br /> Lovell Road for conservation, 1/ acre at 108 orchard Road and 68 Strawberry Ave, for <br /> construction of affordable housing. Mr. Johnson reported that Mr. Fudala would be updating a <br /> new list of available town-owned land by January 2014. Mr. Johnson also stated that the Land <br /> Group would be responsible for recommending lots for disposal to the Board of Selectmen.' <br /> Mr. Johnson inquired about what the Affordable Mousing Committee could do to assist with the <br /> upcoming warrants.
