PF Mashpee Council on Agmng Committee November 20, 2002 Members Present: Arthur Weinstein, Chairperson Jeanne Noussee, Vice Chairperson Diane Botelho, Treasurer Regina Godfrey, Secretary Mmi Mullin Bob Osborn Lefla Botsford Also Present: Jinn Dong, Director Lynne Waterman The Chairperson opened the meeting at 9:07 am in the conference room at 1ashpee Town Hall. The Secretary's Report- Jearme Noussee made a motion to accept the secretary's report with th correction and Bob Osborn seconded it. So moved. The 't'reasurer's report was handed out and discussed. We are well within budget at this time. Regina Godfrey motioned to accept the report as written and Mimi Mullin seconded it. So moved The Chairperson received a letter from a board member recommending that since we read the minutes and reports prior to our oval, we should not reread them, but vote on them accordingly. 'This item was agreed upon unanimously and accepted. The Director spoke about the Bill McReynolds fund and displayed a painting by Wesley Merritt which was purchased from this fund in his honor. It will be hung at the Senior Center with an appropriate plaque attached. The Director's Deport vas-handed out and discu'sled. Our budget may be reduced by tern percent. A get out the vote kick off meeting Will be held at the Senior Center on December Ohat 10:3 0 a.m. and all are encouraged to attend. The Upper Cape Consortium 'Including Mashpee Council on Aging was the recipient of the prestigious Innovator of the Year Award for a program to help elders at risk. As Jim stated, tilt proves that a little town can move the system". Diana Bothelho made a motion to accept the report as written and Mimi Mullin seconded it. So Moved. Outreach Coordinator's report was handed out and discussed. Mary Lou Holland filled specialized outreach positron. Many applicants applied for the $ o, 7 hours a weepp onion.
