a <br /> E <br /> MASHPEE COUNCIL ON AGING <br /> MAY 12,12004 <br /> IN ATTENDANCE: ALSO PRESENT: <br /> Arthur Weinstein James Long <br /> Leila Botsford Lynne Waterman <br /> Regina Godfrey Mert Saper <br /> Marijo Gorney <br /> ABSENT/EXCUSED <br /> Jeanne Noussee <br /> The Chairperson opened the meeting at 9:05 in Meeting Room 2 of Mashpee <br /> Town Hall. <br /> A motion was made by Arthur Weinstein and seconded by Leila Botsford to <br /> accept the minutes of the February meeting —no meetings were held in <br /> March or April. The motion was approved. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT—Most of the items fisted as budget <br /> expenditures were right on target. Two exceptions were the energy.account, <br /> which is not sufficient to meet current needs, and the purchasing account <br /> which will reflect a new copy contract. The Finance Committee might have <br /> to be approached this year for additional funds, especially for energy <br /> expenses. The motion to approve the report was made by Leila Botsford and <br /> seconded by Regina Godfrey. <br /> DIRECTOR'S REPORT <br /> Senior Center Building Committee—Jim Long reported that construction <br /> on the new Senior Center Building was making good progress, but is 20 <br /> days behind schedule.
