MASBPEE COUNCIL-ON AGING <br /> SEPTEMBER 8, 2004 <br /> IN ATTENDANCE: ALSO PRESENT: <br /> Arthur Weinstein James Long <br /> Jeanne Noussee Lynne Waterman <br /> Jack Dorsey Mert Saper <br /> Man'j'o Gorney <br /> ABSENT/EXCUSED: <br /> Leila Botsford <br /> The Chairperson opened the meeting at 9:07 in Meeting Room 2 of Mashpee <br /> Town Hall. <br /> A motion was made by Arthur Weinstein and seconded by Jeanne Noussee <br /> to accept the June meeting minutes. The motion was approved. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT —Last fiscal year— energy and vehicle account <br /> was approved by the Finance Committee. Now it goes to the selectmen. <br /> This year's expenses are right in line with the budget. Lots of bills got <br /> pushed back. <br /> DIRECTOR'S REPORT -- Multiple meetings occurred during month,. <br /> both by the main committee and subcommittees for the new senior center. <br /> Contractor estimates completion by November 23rd. Discussions were still <br /> occurring between Mashpee Commons and Town over sewerage system. <br /> Several minor change orders worth approximately $6,000 have been <br /> processed. <br /> Friends of the Mashpee Senior Center, Inc. announced privately that <br /> fundraising in September approached $250,000. <br />
