Council members may apply for attendance through Jim's office by <br /> August 25, 2006 and Brochures are available through his office. <br /> i <br /> TOWN OF MASHPEE HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICE COMPREHENSIVE <br /> PLAN -- The plan is currently under review and comments are required by <br /> September 15th. A copy is available through Jim's office for your,review and <br /> comments, which you can pass on directly to the Town Manager or through her <br /> office. Please stop by for a copy of the draft. <br /> COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR SENIOR CENTER AND COUNCIL MEETINGS <br /> — Jim suggested that Council meet on a separate occasion to discuss ways to <br /> improve meetings. <br /> OUTREACH CORDINATOR'S REPORT <br /> HOME VISITS-APPOINTMENTS -- 26 were made this last month <br /> VOLUNTEERS — Lynne interviewed two new volunteers, one of whom <br /> will be assisting with friendly visiting and transportation—the other is <br /> i <br /> interested in offering a seminar on "Do It Yourself Home Repairs." Also, <br /> she met with new volunteer Eileen Wise, who agreed to take over the <br /> Library book delivery program. <br /> Also, one of our volunteers has begun coming in once per week for a couple <br /> of hours to act as "concierge." This was discussed in Judy Genge's June <br /> report and it was decided to implement the new pilot volunteer program to <br /> try to alleviate some of the congestion at the front desk. <br />
