e <br /> s <br /> MASHPEE COUNCIL ON AGING MINUTES JULY 14, 2010 <br /> Present: Jack Dorsey, Arthur Eisenberg, Irving Goldberg, Marijo Dorn y, Jack Jordan, Virginia <br /> McIntyre, Jeanne Noussee, Peter Squeglia,Norah McCormick. <br /> Also: Jim Coag,Director and Lynne Wat n an, Outreach Coordinator. <br /> The Chairman,Jack Dorsey, opened the meeting at : AM in the Senior Center Conference <br /> 000m. <br /> S tacrd 's Report: The Minutes of May 12, 20 10 were moved by Irving, seconded by Arthur. <br /> A roll call vote was taken. There were nine yes. Unanimous. <br /> Public Comm t: The Fit and Fun Expo was a success. Anyone needing information regarding <br /> the change of laws in the Commonwealth as they pertain to public meetings can contact the <br /> Town Clerk,Debi Dams. <br /> Ireasurer's rt: Jing Dong stated that the fiscal year ends June 30', fifteen days from now, <br /> and he is finalizing ing the boobs. We are under budget for Town Salary about$100. He plans to <br /> reallocate $7,000 from the formula grant for energy. A revolving account was created to give <br /> ourselves some flexibility in providing educational programs to the senior population. W <br /> --4eqendy offered the Fit and Fun Expo using some of these funds. The event cost around$400. <br /> With the step increases for a clerk and two drivers, it was necessary to reduce hours for the <br /> receptionist and drivers and cut the van run to Hyannis. See attached <br /> Lynne distributed two Articles from the The New York Times: "Preparing More Care of <br /> Elderly" and"The Safety Dance." <br /> Did Business::There was nothing to report. <br /> New Business: Jim introduced and welcomed Norah McCormick to the Board. September is <br /> Senior Center month.
