NEW BUSINESS <br /> Three-person Grievance Committee: Ji Long asked for three volunteers to serve on this <br /> Committee to help resolve issues and conflicts licts that arise on occasion.' Jack Jordan suggested that <br /> the entire Co n 'tt a hear a grievance and rule. After discussion,the Committee agreed that a <br /> to-step process is favored: Approaching the Director first,then moving on' to the Grievance <br /> Committee if not resolved. Irving Goldberg,Mar%j o Dorney,and Arthur Eisenberg Volunteered-to <br /> serve on the Grievance Committee. <br /> MOTION: Jean Noussee moved,Jack Jordan seconded,to add a three-member grievance.. <br /> Committee to the Goun it on Aging. loll call vote taken. All yes. <br /> It was noted that thea is a behavior policy posted on the premises. <br /> Quorum: 1t has been determined by the Town's attorney,that five persons are rewired under the <br /> current arrangement to reach a quorum for the Council on Aging. <br /> 2013. : This budget has been submitted,and it is level funded. <br /> Uoliday EiLt Peve : There will be several deliveries made this year. This efforthelps c <br /> elderly poor in the Community. The Capers will be sponsoring 10 people at$200 each. Home <br /> Instead will provide 20 gift cams. Stop and Shop will provide 30 gifts cards. <br /> Front Desk; Rm Long co , iented that issues about the noise and potential breaches of <br /> confidentiality continue over the open front desk area.. After discussion,the Committee agreed to, <br /> hear possible solutions to address these issues. Jinn Long will contact Walter Carlson, and Lynne <br /> Waterman suggested contacting W.B. Mason. <br /> ay Decorations. Jin noted that the holiday decorations at the Senior Center.were provided <br /> by the Garden Club at a cost of$348. They did a splendid job. <br /> There is anew movement, `M tepee Cares'-similar-to-the `Together We Can' campaign in the <br /> schools.
