Mr. Umina
distributed a-map of the 7 acre parcel that abuts the 'own-orae
triangular shaped land, property described as the Mashpee.wildlife Refuge
in the area.of John's Pond. Ownership of the s bj ect property would
enhance the wildlife refine keeping the land in its natural, open state, free
from development.
The subject property is presently marketed for sale. If the land is sold, it
would be subject to two-acre zoning. A maximum of three houses could
e constructed in accordance ith zoning restrictions. Discussion
followed with regards to frontage and access. It was noted that.Payamps
Road is situated in the front portion of the subject property perty shown on the
plan in dotted line format. If houses were to be built on the property,
Payamps Road is the most desirable location for access and would need
costly road improvements for residential right-of-entry. A 40project is
ars additional use considered for the property. The CSA funding request of
Algonquin Realty Trust is $7'00,000 for.open space purposes.
