2 Community Preservation Committee Minutes March 14, 2006 APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: Gerald I mm* a—A on um* Really Trust/1 53 Pa s Road: (continued) Mr. Umina and the beneficiaries of Algonquin Investment Trust requested the Committee's consideration to purchase the property to maintain its natural, open state and to enhance the 1lashpee Wildlife Refuge. The application submitted by Algonquin Realty Frust was duly received by the Committee and noted to be in order. NEW BUSINESS: Heritage Park Expansion Proms-Phase 1: Catherine Laurent,,Assistant Director of the DPW distributed copies of the CPC funding application for the Heritage Park expansion protect proposal. The project is submitted in accordance with the master pan developed in tool at the direction of the Town of Ntashpee for Heritage Park. The proposed application is the first of a multi-ycar effort to expand the Heritage Park facility as defined in the master plan. In Phase I,a soballbaseball field and a multi-purpose field are proposed to be constructed. The project also involves the n. lation..of anew.irrigation well and related pump storage building. The total requested appropriation is$192,500. It was disclosed the existing irrigation well on the subject site does nat have the capacity for further expansion and cannot be used-to irrigate addftional fields.
