2 <br /> Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> March 14, 2006 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Gerald I mm* a—A on um* Really Trust/1 53 Pa s Road: (continued) <br /> Mr. Umina and the beneficiaries of Algonquin Investment Trust requested <br /> the Committee's consideration to purchase the property to maintain its <br /> natural, open state and to enhance the 1lashpee Wildlife Refuge. <br /> The application submitted by Algonquin Realty Frust was duly received <br /> by the Committee and noted to be in order. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Heritage Park Expansion Proms-Phase 1: <br /> Catherine Laurent,,Assistant Director of the DPW distributed copies of the <br /> CPC funding application for the Heritage Park expansion protect <br /> proposal. <br /> The project is submitted in accordance with the master pan developed in <br /> tool at the direction of the Town of Ntashpee for Heritage Park. <br /> The proposed application is the first of a multi-ycar effort to expand the <br /> Heritage Park facility as defined in the master plan. In Phase I,a <br /> soballbaseball field and a multi-purpose field are proposed to be <br /> constructed. The project also involves the n. lation..of anew.irrigation <br /> well and related pump storage building. The total requested appropriation <br /> is$192,500. <br /> It was disclosed the existing irrigation well on the subject site does nat <br /> have the capacity for further expansion and cannot be used-to irrigate <br /> addftional fields.
